Voice-Operated Cellphone Charger

This phone charger collects and stores energy as you talk into the phone’s microphone.

As you talk into a microphone, your voice generates a voltage. The phone charger would transfer the energy directly into the phone’s battery.

The charger is built into the phone, so you don’t have to worry about carrying around extra cables.

I checked it out from the library in March 2005, and it explained the patent application process quite clearly. Don't buy it, though, just get it from the library.
